WireWorld was the first manufacturer to label its HDMI cables with official bandwiidth/speed ratings specified by The HDMI LLC.
Prior to the release of HDMI v1.4 and its associated labelling system, WireWorld was marking its HDMI cables with colour coded “Guaranteed Performance Indicator” labels. With the introduction of WireWorld Series 6 HDMI cables, WireWorld has replaced its own labelling system by that of the HDMI LLC. However, there is a close correlation between the WireWorld and HDMI LLC labels.
